In 2010 there was some excellent games out and following on from that was always going to be hard but it seems like Microsoft may be heading for more success,lined up for 2011 are some terrific original games and some fantastic follow ups,it does indeed certainly look like it is going to be another fantastic year for the xbox,A lot of the releases aren’t scheduled until the end of the year which just means you will have an excellent Christmas.

Gears Of War 3
Gears of war has been one of the success stories for the xbox and has a legion of fans eager for this next installment,there have been a few details leaked such as the fact that there are a couple of new playable characters and there are also new weapon upgrades which will please the online fans,going hand in hand with the weapons are some new moves to help you along the way,release is sometime this summer

The first dead space game shocked some people with how downright scary it was which means that when told the second installment would be scarier we were not shocked,a gripping survival sci fi horror is what is in store and featuring new weapons and some scary new foes to kill it looks like it will sell better than the first one.

Elder scrolls Skyrim
This follows up from the hugely popular and biggest rpg to date for the xbox 360 Oblivion.hardly anything is known except it will be a mmo game with a huge playing potential as this will probably take over your life for months,due out in November this year.

Batman Arkham City
I absolutely loved the first game and am really looking forward to this bigger and better version which features all new villains and sme new weapons,one of the weapons to help batman fight his war on crime are rumoured to be smoke bombs,but all will be revealed late 2011

Mass Effect 3 this is the game which i am really looking forward to out of this list as i have played the first two and loved them,also the fact that this game is set on earth could really open up this game to a whole new audience,not much is know but the video online shows a soldier being attacked as the city around him crumbles,strangely Shepard who was a prominent figure in the first two is nowhere to be seen.end of the year is the release date.
