Getting Your World Of Warcraft Gear On

World of Warcraft is a heavily gear dependant game when it comes to end game raiding, or when engaging in PVP activities. It’s a well known point of contention that many high end raiding guilds will deny admission to players who don’t measure up with their gear score. PVP, while not as gear dependant at the middle levels, becomes much more so at the high levels. The under 20 PVP battlegrounds can be quite literally murder to players who aren’t well geared. Well financed players have been known to twink their battleground alts to the gills to have a massive advantage at that level of PVP.

Perhaps the best solution to the problem is for under geared players to use a wow gold guide to accumulate large amounts of the in-game currency. By doing this, the now funded player can hit up the World of Warcraft Auction House for as much gear as they need to twink their low level characters for PVP battlegrounds, or to gear up for high level play.

Of course, for getting high level raiding gear there is literally no substitute for raiding because the gear earned through raiding is no-drop and can only come by doing raids over and over again. In this case, the savvy player uses a wow leveling guide to get to the level cap as quickly as possible. The player can then begin a raiding career with a casual raiding guild before applying to, and hopefully being accepted by, one of the high end raiding guilds.

The other path to raiding is a bit slower, and comes by doing large amounts of PVP. The gear rewards that can be earned by doing many battleground matches can actually substitute for some of the lower end raiding gear, allowing the player to get his gear score to the point where it is acceptable to a raiding guild.
